Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging, in-person contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive and student-focused school setting for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to make an impactful difference in the lives of students while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. Ideal candidates will excel in providing tailored speech and language support, fostering communication growth, and contributing to a nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary educational teamKey Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate students' success in the classroom Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and relevant regulations Perks of theRole:
