Job Description

Make a direct impact on students lives as a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite with a reputable educational organization in the Battle Creek, MI area. This position provides services to a caseload primarily consisting of early childhood students, but includes PreK through 12th grade. Youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, deliver evaluations, and help support students growth in communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Michigan SLP license Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA Experience working with school-aged populations, especially early childhood For Clinical Fellows (CF), a pre-identified supervisor is required Comfortable serving students onsite; remote or virtual options are not available for these roles Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work within a school-based team
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language disorders Develop therapy goals that support student achievement in academic and functional settings Maintain records, progress notes, and complete necessary documentation promptly Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This full-time contract offers up to 40 hours per week and the opportunity to work onsite in a supportive educational environment serving students across PreK-12, with a focus on early childhood.
