Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary:
Pinnacle Care of Battle Creek is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating resident needs for speech therapy, planning and executing individual treatment programs, and providing high-quality care in accordance with ASHA and SLP scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate resident needs for speech therapy and create personalized treatment plans Plan and execute individual treatment programs in accordance with ASHA and SLP scope of practice Keep treatment skills upgraded through continuing education, evidence-based research, and program development Perform therapy interventions using standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the resident Educate and counsel residents and/or family members regarding treatment plans Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations Plan and/or assist with resident discharge from speech therapy services Provide information regarding appropriate support programs
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology granted by an accredited university program Certificate of Clinical Competence by ASHA Active SLP license in the state of Michigan Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol
