Job Description

The Orchard at Big Rapids is looking for you a consistent PRN or Part time SLP to join our in-house team. Under new ownership! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work primarily in a SNF/LTC setting, providing essential speech therapy services to older adults and geriatrics with communication Stroke, swallowing and a number of other issues. This role requires a deep understanding of speech therapy techniques and patient assessment Ideal candidates will have experience with LTC and SNF and a background using
Net Health Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents for swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive deficits. Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies. Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and complete daily billing. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP ) preferred. Experience working with the geriatric population is a plus. Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Why Join Us?
