Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact supporting students and staff as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position available now through the remainder of the school year. Bring your expertise to an engaging educational setting near Canton, MI, where you will deliver crucial onsite speech and language services, fostering communication and growth among students in need.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP state license or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to student progress Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and special education teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with educational teams Conduct assessments and create detailed evaluation reports Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress to parents and staff Offer support and resources to teachers and families to further student success Engage actively in IEP meetings and school-based interventions as needed Adapt therapy methods and materials for onsite school settings
