Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (official transcripts required at submission) Active Michigan SLP license (or valid temporary license for CFYs) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs; strong CFYs consideredespecially with established supervision Experience in K-12 settings highly valued Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations, staff, and families Demonstrates adaptability and creative problem-solving, with a commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams and participate in IEP meetings Provide support and resources relevant to the unique needs of urban students and their families Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Perks of the
