School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Detroit, Michigan ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Detroit, MI Job Details Full-time | Contract 5 days ago Qualifications Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active or eligible Michigan SLP license (willingness to obtain prior to the new school year is welcomed) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders CCC-SLP certification or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills Dedication to evidence-based practice and commitment to student outcomesPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy for K-12 students Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) speech goals Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school culture Enjoy the satisfaction of empowering students, while benefiting from professional growth, supportive mentorship for CFYs, and the dynamic environment of a contract position that welcomes travel professionals.
