Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step confidently into a rewarding opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing exceptional support to students. This contract role is designed for licensed SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), passionate about fostering communication and language development in a dynamic educational setting located in the greater Detroit, MI area.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current SLP license in Michigan. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). School-based experience preferred, but motivated clinical SLPs are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse backgrounds and needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals. Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings. Offer direct and consultative SLP services in individual and group settings. Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to support academic success and social participation. Provide resources and training to families and educators as needed.
