School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Full-Time | Detroit, MI | 2026-2027 School Year We are currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for multiple full-time school-based opportunities in the Detroit, Michigan area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive educational environment while making a meaningful impact on students across a variety of grade levels. Candidates should be comfortable managing a caseload independently and providing comprehensive speech-language services within a school setting. Position Details 2 full-time openings available 35 hours per week 2026-2027 school year Potential opportunity for Extended School Year (ESY) services Onsite position Flexible daily schedule based on the school day Primarily elementary and middle school caseloads Candidates should be comfortable supporting students from PreK-12th grade as needed Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Complete progress reports, documentation, and compliance requirements Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Manage a caseload independently and maintain all required timelines Student Population Students may present with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, social communication deficits, fluency disorders, AAC needs, and other speech-language challenges. Qualifications Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

preferred Previous school-based experience preferred Ability to independently manage evaluations, therapy services, IEPs, and case management responsibilities Why Apply?
