9644212-49111 Job Description Step into a rewarding, part-time opportunity to provide speech-language services to K-12 students in an engaging school environment. This in-person, contract role starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering immediate impact and valuable experience. Both CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, making this role an excellent fit for both seasoned practitioners and newer professionals seeking to expand their expertise in educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Previous experience or strong interest in school-based, pediatric caseloads Knowledgeable about best practices in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring across K-12th grade Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptable and compassionate, ready to meet the diverse needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy, targeting a wide range of communication goals Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning Maintain accurate documentation, complete progress reports, and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) implementation Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development This role provides a meaningful way to make a difference in students lives while working in a collaborative and supportive school community.
