This contract position, situated near Farmington, MI, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference as you cover a leave of absence. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active and valid SLP license issued by the state of Michigan Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary-age children, is highly valued Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with student needs and IEPs Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success Adapt and modify therapy approaches as needed, depending on each childs learning style and progress Provide support and consultation to staff regarding speech and language issues Effectively manage a diverse caseload while maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines This role offers a workweek of 37.5 hours, with an anticipated start date of November 30, 2026, and an end date of February 26, 2027 (subject to change based on coverage needs).
