9661352-49509 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role serving elementary students in a supportive school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists ready to make a positive impact through leave coveragepotentially extending throughout the entire school year. Work closely with students at the elementary level, providing essential speech and language services to promote communication and learning success.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Prior experience or student internship in a school-based setting, especially at the elementary level, is strongly desired Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff Strong organizational and documentation abilities A passion for helping children build confidence and reach milestones in communication Key responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy services to elementary students as assigned Conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements Coordinating with classroom staff and families to ensure effective delivery of interventions Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Supporting students progress by providing both direct and consultative services If you are seeking meaningful work in a dynamic school environment and are committed to helping students thrive, this is the perfect contract role for you.
