Position Overview:
We are seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students' communication and language development. Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to address speech and language needs and help students succeed academically and socially. Local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Provide individual and group therapy services. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team. Provide guidance to teachers and staff on speech and language strategies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Michigan state license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). School-based experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
