Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Howell, MI. The role involves providing essential speech and language services in a school setting, supporting students' communication development and addressing a variety of pediatric speech and language disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school regulations Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP planning Ideal candidates will possess: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working pediatric populations, specifically within school environments Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) or eligibility to complete CFY Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and collaboration skills appropriate for school settings This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences while working in a supportive school environment in Howell, MI.
