Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference by supporting students across K-12 levels as a Speech Language Pathologist working on a contract assignment lasting through June 2027. Multiple openings are available to serve schools in vibrant Michigan communities, including areas near Grand Blanc, Lansing, Detroit, and Lapeer. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited university (official transcripts required prior to district presentation) Active State of Michigan SLP license; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) must also possess a temporary license and preferably have an established supervisor Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellows are considered Experience supporting diverse or urban student populations is strongly valued; candidates may be asked about relevant resources and approaches for these communities Prior work in school settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
Serve onsite (preferred) across K-12 students, tailoring intervention plans and therapy sessions to a variety of ages and needs Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other support professionals Document progress and prepare timely reports in compliance with school and district requirements For innovative and experienced candidates, virtual/VOCO settings may be considered
