What they do

A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Seeking a pediatric speech and language pathologist who is passionate about their job! Bluestone Children's Center is located in Livonia, Michigan and has two buildings that are dedicated to a functional therapeutic environment! The center includes several oversized gyms, mini theater, playrooms, haircut hut, dentist and several other unique spaces to conduct therapy! We are seeking a SLP who has experience working with young kids with autism and is looking for the freedom to take on their own caseloads! We need someone who is already a licensed SLP and if you have an NPI and are already credentialed with insurance companies, we can plug you in immediately with a schedule that can meet your needs. If not, no problem

Our current speech team is neurodiversity affirming, supports all types of play, GLP educated, and passionate about AAC! We are looking for a team member that is looking for collaboration and a multidisciplinary approach to therapy! Qualifications Requirement:
  • Masters of Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of clinical competency or Clinical fellowship year
  • Has current SLP license (or license eligible) in Michigan
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatrics preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with special needs children (specifically autism) preferred
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team setting
  • Candidates who are currently credentialed with major insurance companies preferred

$65,000.00
