In this full-time contract role, youll provide onsite speech and language services throughout the 20262027 school year. Your expertise will make a difference for students in district elementary schools as well as those in non-public schools receiving district support.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience with school-based caseloads, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to providing inclusive, evidence-based interventions for diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy onsite Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in alignment with district and state requirements Support students in elementary schools as well as those enrolled in non-public schools within the service area Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators to promote student success Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for ongoing student support This position is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to utilize their skills in a dynamic school environment, advocate for students, and build strong professional relationships.
