This opportunity focuses on providing specialized speech-language pathology services via teletherapy within a school setting in Muskegon, MI. The role supports one high school student enrolled in an alternative program and approaching graduation, with the service delivery tailored to meet the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services remotely, ranging from 15 to 40 minutes per session, one to four times monthly in accordance with the students IEP. Collaborate with educational staff during scheduled IEP meetings, including participation in the upcoming September 30 meeting. Monitor and support the students progress toward graduation, assisting with completing required credits within the trimester timeline. Maintain compliance with all educational and teletherapy guidelines, including documentation and communication with supporting personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Experience in voco speech-language pathology services preferred. Skilled in delivering teletherapy interventions in a school environment. Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based speech therapy requirements. Ability to work itinerantly with potential mileage reimbursement.
