Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ready to make a difference in the lives of preschoolers? A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to work with young learners ages 3-4. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, with immediate start and flexibility through June, serving a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. You'll enjoy a collaborative, supportive environment while helping children develop crucial early communication skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid SLP license for practice Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working with preschool-aged children, ideally in a school or early intervention setting Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged students Develop individualized treatment plans targeting each student's specific needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each child's communication goals Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines Consult with parents/guardians, providing updates and strategies for home reinforcement Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based approaches for student success
