Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language services in a dynamic, supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in school environments and is committed to supporting children's academic and social development. What you'll do: Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 student population in alignment with IEP goals. Assess, diagnose, and design intervention plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and clear communication regarding students' speech and language needs. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and school guidelines. Offer support and training to staff and families on communication strategies and interventions. Adapt therapy approaches to meet a range of learning styles and developmental needs within the school setting.
Your credentials:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLP services. Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
