2502709-48161 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school setting! This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking meaningful work within parochial schools in Monroe County, MI. Whether youre a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate or possess your CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence), your expertise and compassion will be highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred, but open to motivated CFY applicants Previous experience working in school settings is a plus Knowledge of IEP process, evaluations, progress monitoring, and evidence-based interventions Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to travel to multiple parochial school locations within the county
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teaching staff, special education teams, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and documentation in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student support Adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and classroom environments
Position Details:
