9598582-48239 Job Description Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract position runs from September 1st through June 16th, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact across three school buildings. Working from 8am to 3:30pm, you will provide mostly push-in services to students in grades K-10, focusing on an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) program. The position serves a diverse caseload of approximately 35-40 students, allowing for meaningful connections and growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school or healthcare settings Skilled in evidence-based practices for ASD and other speech/language needs Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver push-in speech/language therapy to students across K-10th, covering elementary, middle, and high school settings Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, with a focus on autism Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and other related service providers Collect and maintain accurate records and progress notes
