Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Current and active Michigan SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings Expertise assessing and supporting a broad range of speech and language disorders in students K-12 Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students in K-12 Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support academic achievement and social development Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and intervention planning Utilize evidence-based approaches to help students overcome barriers to communication in a school setting
