Job Description

Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive educational setting near Southfield, MI. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (Michigan SLP license required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered Experience working with school-aged children, ranging from mild to moderate speech and language disorders Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff Organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for referred students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Consult with teachers and families to support student achievement and ongoing communication development This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational setting, empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
