Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide essential services in a school setting. This is a travel position located in Southfield, MI, offering the chance to engage with diverse student populations while contributing to their communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working in school-based environments preferred Strong assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and allied professionals Commitment to delivering student-centered services tailored to individual needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Implement evidence-based therapy sessions to address articulation, language delays, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support holistic student development Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations Travel to assigned school(s) within the Southfield, MI area to provide on-site services
