Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide Extended School Year (ESY) services starting June 1st. This role is ideal for certified professionals with experience working in educational settings, supporting primarily early intervention students, with some caseload involving K-12 age groups.
Location:
Sterling Heights, MI Responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy services during the ESY program Conducting assessments and progress monitoring for students across early childhood and K-12 age ranges Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to meet compliance and program standards
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification (CCC, CFY) with experience in school settings Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders, especially early intervention Ability to effectively manage a caseload with varying age groups Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families This position offers the opportunity to work within a very small district where all buildings are conveniently located within close proximity of one another (1-2 miles), facilitating efficient travel between sites.
