Were seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students near Twin Lake, MI, for the 20262027 school year. This full-time onsite contract role involves providing exceptional speech and language services to students at an elementary campus, including those at non-public schools supported by the district.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an elementary setting Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and team collaboration Outstanding communication, record-keeping, and organizational skills Compassion, flexibility, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and report findings Develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to elementary students Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and communication with staff and families Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support each childs holistic development Provide consultation and training for families and school personnel regarding communication strategies Serve as a resource for non-public schools receiving services through district support
