Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators in a contract speech-language pathology role starting in mid-October and extending through mid-January. Step into a dynamic school setting near Warren, MI, where you'll collaborate with caring professionals and help students achieve communication milestones. Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language services, with eligibility for or possession of CCC-SLP, as well as those pursuing CFY. A collaborative spirit and a passion for empowering young learners are highly valued in this role.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active or eligible State SLP license CCC-SLP or CFY applicants welcome Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy and support to K-12 students Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document student progress and maintain accurate records Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents to promote language development in various settings This contract position offers you the chance to focus on your clinical strengths and contribute to student growth in a welcoming environment.
