Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027, offering consistent hours and the chance to truly make a difference. Serving a caseload of 42 students in grades K through 5, your expertise will help shape young minds and support their communication development in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active license in Speech-Language Pathology Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates Experience or strong interest in school-based settings Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, teachers, and families Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-5th grade students Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluations of speech and language disorders Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student's unique needs Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to school and legal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a resource for staff and parents In this role, you'll benefit from a structured schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week, working in a supportive school environment that values the role of speech-language support for young learners.
