Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity - Contract Position in Ypsilanti, MI An exciting contract position for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is currently available in a school setting in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This role is ideal for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in a school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Monitor and document student performance and communicate outcomes with the educational team Address both in-session and related documentation requirements efficiently
Required Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure suitable for school settings Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility through Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Previous experience working in educational environments as an SLP Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based therapy protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff
