A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

This contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering an opportunity to collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team and engage directly with families and educators in a supportive environment. Starting in late August and continuing through mid-June, this position is set near Andover, MN, in the Blaine area, working standard school hours Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly. Youll deliver evidence-based speech and language services to preschool-aged children, fostering communication development at a critical stage.Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Previous experience in early childhood/school-based settings with ECSE (ages 3-5) is highly desirable Strong assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration skills Ability to maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings Resume submission required for considerationKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to early childhood students Assess, diagnose, and document speech/language disorders using standardized tools Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to childrens needs Collaborate with families, teachers, and team members to support student outcomes Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations and best practices This assignment promises professional growth, an inclusive school community, and the chance to create lasting impact during a foundational time for young children.
