Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling, full-time role supporting students' communication needs in a school-based setting. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), working onsite with a dedicated group of approximately 60 students for the full academic year. You'll become an integral member of a collaborative educational team, making meaningful contributions to each child's academic and social growth through direct support and innovation in speech therapy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments is strongly preferred Familiarity with providing speech therapy services in school settings (K-12) Comfortable with caseload management and documentation SLPA supervision experience is a plus, but not required Knowledge of teletherapy platforms is a bonus; however, position is onsite only at this time Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of up to 60 students, tailoring services based on individual education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech and language development Maintain a supportive, engaging environment for all students This opportunity offers the stability of a full school year assignment, with professional growth and the chance to truly make a difference in students' lives.
