Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving students near Big Lake, MN with your Speech-Language Pathology expertise. This assignment runs from October 14th through the end of the school year, giving you a fulfilling chance to make an impact on young learners' communication skills in an educational setting. The ideal candidate brings experience in pediatric speech therapy and is comfortable working within school environments. The assignment is open to those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates who are ready to develop their proficiency with skilled supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or qualified SLP-CFY School-based experience preferred, or strong clinical background in pediatrics Familiarity with IEP documentation and collaborative educational teams Strong communication, organization, and adaptability in classroom or small-group settings

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and provide direct therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Maintain detailed, compliant records on student progress Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing student evaluation Offer support and consultation to educational staff for optimal carryover in classrooms This contract offers you the chance to deliver crucial speech-language services in a school-based setting.
