Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students communication development in an engaging school environment near Burnsville, MN! This contract position is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives on making a positive difference. The assignment is onsite, offering the chance to build strong relationships with students and our educational team. Youll work 37.5 hours per week, with a varied caseload that offers professional growth and variety.
Key Qualifications:
Active Minnesota SLP license required Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities Proficiency in school-based SLP duties and knowledge of special education requirements Familiarity with IEP documentation, service delivery, and progress monitoring Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work across multiple sites within the district as needed
What You'll Do:
Provide speech and language services in two elementary schools, four days each week Support a diverse range of students districtwide one day per week Complete assessments, develop and implement individualized educational plans Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to foster student success Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and district requirements Participate in team meetings and professional development
