Required Skills and Experience:

Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certification preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Pediatric experience, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Previous experience in school-based SLP settings (elementary or middle school experience a plus) Skilled in evaluations, developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Proficient in delivering speech and language services to small groups and individual students Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students across elementary and middle grade levels Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update IEPs Provide targeted speech and language therapy, tailored to individual or small group needs, within a school setting Maintain accurate and timely records, data collection, and progress monitoring in accordance with school and state guidelines Serve as a resource for educators, offering guidance and strategies to support student communication in the classroom This contract position is full time, running 40 hours per week across 5 days, allowing for an energizing and engaging schedule. You'll be based at just one school, which enables continuity and deeper connections with your students and colleagues.
