Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting in early September and extending through late November, this role provides a focused opportunity to make a valuable impact within a collaborative school team.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience serving as an SLP in schools, particularly with early childhood or preschool populations Familiarity with early childhood special education (ECSE) caseloads Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities Ability to provide professional references and up-to-date resume

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of children ages 3-5 in an early childhood setting Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized service plans Conduct screenings and assessments to identify needs and measure student progress Contribute to IEP team meetings with actionable insights and recommendations Maintain accurate student records and comply with district and state guidelines Communicate progress and strategies for support to families and staff This 12-week assignment offers a predictable schedule—3 weekdays per week, 7.5 hours per day—giving you a meaningful balance between work and personal commitments.
