Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in students' lives by providing essential speech therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity allows experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to apply their expertise as an SLP with CCC, supporting diverse learners and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid and current SLP-CCC certification State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Prior experience in a school or pediatrics setting preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy to students with varying needs

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students receiving speech-language services Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy within the school environment Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and generalization of skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams This rewarding role offers the flexibility and growth opportunities of a contract position while allowing you to be a vital resource for students near Forest Lake, MN.
