Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students at the middle school level for the 2026-2027 academic year. This split-site role is set for a 1.0 FTE schedule (37.5 hours per week), offering the chance to positively impact young learners' development across diverse educational environments. Your expertise will help shape communication skills and empower students to reach their fullest potential. Beginning September 8th, 2026, and concluding June 10th, 2027, this assignment is ideal for those looking to make a difference in school-based practice, especially near Hopkins, MN.
What We're Looking For:
Active Minnesota SLP License and professional certification (e.g., CCC required) Background in school-based speech-language pathology preferred Strong collaborative skills for working with faculty, staff, and families Ability to adapt services across multiple school sites Effective communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to middle school students with a variety of needs Participation in IEP meetings, contributing evaluations and recommendations Develop individualized treatment plans addressing students' communication goals Maintain detailed, timely records in compliance with educational guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to foster student success Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices Compensation for this contract position ranges from $50-$60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
