School-Based Responsibilities Provide speech and language services to students with a variety of communication needs. Conduct assessments and assist with the development of individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy sessions focused on speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development, as appropriate.
Qualifications For SLP Candidates:
Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required, depending on assignment. School-based experience preferred but not required.
