Job Description

Make an immediate impact in a very small PreK-6th grade school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment from now through early November. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a close-knit educational community near Maple Lake, MN, delivering essential speech and language services where your expertise is truly valued.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure Recent experience working with school-aged children, particularly PreK-6th grade Familiarity with the IEP process and comfortable conducting evaluations, developing goals, and documenting progress Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, and families Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Efficient with virtual and in-person service delivery (if required)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary students Administer assessments, document findings, and participate in eligibility determination Develop individualized and evidence-based intervention plans Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into students' daily activities Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for home practice Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations as needed Maintain accurate service logs and comply with all district and state documentation requirements This full-time, contract role offers an exciting chance to make a difference in students' lives while enjoying the supportive environment of a small school community.
