Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract role as a School Speech-Language Pathologist, where you'll make a difference in the lives of students for the upcoming academic year. This assignment is set to begin October 14th and will continue through the end of the school year, providing valuable support in a school-based environment. Your expertise will be integral in helping students unlock their communication potential and achieve academic success.

Key Qualifications:

Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC, CFY, or relevant state certification) Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting is highly preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with students, families, and school teams Familiarity with IEP process and special education regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language needs Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on student goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students individually and in groups Maintain accurate and timely records for progress monitoring and compliance Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student growth This role offers the chance to positively impact students' communication skills while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
