Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication development as a Speech Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis. This position offers an immediate start and provides a chance to deliver dedicated speech and language services in a school setting near Blue Springs, MO. You'll collaborate collaboratively with educators and families to develop and implement strategies that help students overcome challenges and flourish academically and socially.
What We're Looking For:
Active Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred Strong understanding of IEP documentation and compliance Effective communication skills to liaise with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a range of students Assess, identify, and document speech, language, and communication needs Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and collaborative student support teams Maintain detailed records and comply with legal and ethical guidelines Educate staff and families on strategies that support students' success In this role, you'll receive $50-$55 per hour, reflective of your expertise and commitment.
