VHS What You'll Do:
Evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders using standardized assessments Develop and implement tailored treatment plans following all regulatory standards Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers about speech and swallowing issues Document all services accurately in electronic health records Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and training sessions Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists Ensure compliance with ASHA and state practice acts
What You Need:
Active State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certification Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in Long Term Care Strong communication and clinical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team About the
