9553239-63028 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational setting near Festus, MO. This assignment is available from August through May 2027, offering 32.5 hours per week within a supportive school district.
Two distinct roles are available:
Middle/High School, Parochial, and Private Placement Agency:
Manage a treatment caseload totaling approximately 4440 service minutes monthly and a caseload of about 10 students. In addition to direct treatment, you'll oversee evaluation assessments and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Early Childhood Program (ECC): This role features a minimal treatment caseload with a case management load of around 15 students. Primary responsibilities include administering evaluation assessments for the ECC and providing assessment support throughout the district as needed.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills A collaborative, student-centered approach to service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students unique needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and participate in IEP meetings Provide services across diverse student populations, adapting to different educational environments This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated SLPs to make a meaningful impact across multiple school environments, contributing to student success and well-being.
