Job Description

Support K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving multiple school locations throughout the Grain Valley area. This flexible opportunity welcomes both seasoned professionals and candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, or considering travel, your expertise in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology can have a significant impact. What You'll Need to

Succeed:

Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Missouri Experience with pediatric populations or prior school-based SLP work is strongly preferred Able to pass all compliance steps, including fingerprinting and background screening Familiarity with current teletherapy platforms and providing speech services in person or virtually Effective communicator to engage in collaborative virtual interviews and team meetings

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload Evaluate students, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document intervention progress Travel between assigned school sites while managing a dynamic, itinerant schedule Participate in administrative meetings and team collaboration as required Maintain meticulous records and uphold school and state documentation standards
