In this energetic environment, you'll assist with various clinical tasks, ensuring that children receive the best care possible. Your contributions will make a significant impact on their health journey, particularly in pediatrics and early intervention settings. What you'll do Assist healthcare providers in delivering speech and language services to children and students with diverse needs. Support therapy sessions, including speech therapy, by preparing materials and engaging with patients. Collaborate with speech therapist and occupational therapist Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Conduct assessments and monitor progress in early intervention programs, providing valuable feedback to the healthcare team. Foster a welcoming environment for children and their families, helping them feel comfortable during visits. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate care and support services. Basic qualifications Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to pediatric care. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with providing speech and language services in the private practice setting Previous experience in speech therapy or related fields.
