Speech Language Pathologist
Job Description
The Staff Speech Pathologist provides evaluations and treatments for patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders across all ages. They identify, assess, and rehabilitate speech, language, dysphagia, and cognitive/communication issues, while managing related programs and supervising staff. They counsel patients, families, and caregivers on disorder management. Responsibilities include performing screenings, diagnoses, and therapy , developing augmentative communication systems, and documenting progress. They also assist with discharge planning and conduct staff in-services. Qualifications require a Master's or doctoral degree , ASHA certification , applicable state licensure , and experience or supervision in clinical fellowship.
