A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

We serve children with a wide range of developmental, communication, learning, and behavioral needs in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are looking for an SLP who truly loves working with children and wants to be part of a collaborative team focused on helping each child reach their fullest potential. Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and assessments Develop individualized treatment goals and therapy plans Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language therapy Support children with expressive and receptive language delays Address articulation and speech sound disorders Work with children who are nonverbal or minimally verbal Provide AAC support and help children develop functional communication skills Collaborate with families, teachers, behavioral staff, occupational therapists, and other professionals Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and treatment records Provide families and staff with strategies to encourage communication throughout the child's daily routine Participate in interdisciplinary planning to support each child's individual needs Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible for Mississippi SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP) are welcome to apply if appropriate supervision requirements can be met Pediatric experience preferred Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, AAC, and early intervention is a plus Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Most importantly, a genuine passion for helping children learn, communicate, and grow Why Join Wonderfully Wired?
