Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services in a school setting in Sardis, MS. This contract position involves working Monday through Friday, serving approximately 40 speech students with needs in articulation, fluency, language, and voice.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy to students across two local Head Start centers, an Early Learning Academy, and a private school. Attend, conduct, and document Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring compliance and collaborative goal setting. Complete IEP writing and documentation with accuracy and timeliness. Administer language and speech screening evaluations. Perform Child Outcome Summaries (COS) entries for 3-year-old students entering the program and exits for those at 5.5 years of age.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience delivering teletherapy services is a plus. Strong knowledge of early childhood speech and language development. Ability to manage a caseload of diverse speech and language disorders efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
