School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sardis, Mississippi

Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a contracted speech-language pathologist in an educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity, located near Sardis, MS, invites compassionate, skilled SLPs to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families in supporting student growth and communication success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with IEP development and documentation Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and interpret results Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and maintain accurate documentation Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians Monitor and report progress, refining interventions as needed Support professional development for staff on communication strategies This contract position for the 26/27 school year offers the chance to build valuable experience while positively affecting students' academic and social success.
